About Us

Tricky Owlbear Publishing, Inc. is the brainchild of brothers Bret and Scot Boyd. 

Bret is a graduate of Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA where he received his B.A. in English in 1997.  After college, he worked for a couple of small newspapers before the d20 movement began.  Since 2001, Bret has been published in over 60 print and pdf products.  He is most noted for penning the critically acclaimed time travel supplement Temporality (published by Dark Quest Games) and the popular Behind the Spells pdf series.
